Who operates Quick990

Quick990 is operated by Austin R Walker and Associates, LLC ("we", "us"). This policy describes information handled through quick990.com and its preparation workspace. Contact quick990@arw.ltd with privacy questions or requests.

Information we handle

  • Account information: your name, email address, organization name, sign-in information, and records of account confirmation and policy acknowledgement.
  • Preparation records: organization details, EIN, tax year, questionnaire answers, financial figures, names and compensation details, uploaded documents, and saved AI suggestions and exports.
  • Payment information: Stripe transaction identifiers, amount, currency, payment status, and refund or dispute status. Payment credentials are handled by Stripe and your chosen payment provider; Quick990 does not store full card numbers.
  • Technical and support information: requests, device/browser information, IP addresses, service and security logs handled by our infrastructure providers, and messages you send us.

Only provide records you are authorized to use. Avoid uploading Social Security numbers, bank credentials, full payment card numbers, or unnecessary donor and other personal information. Redact information that preparation does not require.

How information is used

We use information to authenticate accounts, save and organize preparation work, provide requested AI features, generate downloads, process payments and refunds, respond to support requests, troubleshoot problems, and protect the service from misuse. We also retain records needed for accounting, legal obligations, and resolving disputes.

AI features and your choices

AI features use OpenAI. Clicking Save & Polish sends the text selected for polishing and its question labels to OpenAI. Narrative generation may send the organization name, tax year, saved mission/program text, and relevant follow-up answers. Document analysis sends the selected PDF content and relevant preparation context after you give permission in the analysis form.

Uploading a file by itself does not initiate AI analysis. You can save answers without polishing and prepare your package without using optional AI features. Review AI suggestions before using them; they can contain mistakes.

Our AI requests use the API’s store: false setting. This does not mean zero retention by the provider. OpenAI’s processing and retention are governed by its applicable API terms and data controls. Quick990 also saves accepted suggestions, draft snapshots, and relevant original text within your workspace.

Service providers and disclosures

Our service providers include Vercel for hosting and public-page analytics when enabled, Supabase for authentication, database and private file storage, Stripe for payments, OpenAI for requested AI processing, and Resend for account email delivery where configured. These providers receive information needed for their functions and may process it in the United States or other countries.

We do not sell your preparation records or use them for targeted advertising. We may disclose information when required by law, to address fraud or security incidents, to protect rights, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable privacy obligations. Quick990 does not automatically send your package to an accountant or the IRS; you choose how to share your downloads.

Public-page analytics

When enabled, Vercel Web Analytics helps us understand visits to our home, privacy, terms and support pages, including referring websites, device categories and campaign labels on shared links. The analytics provider processes technical request information to produce traffic reports. This analytics integration does not send questionnaire answers, uploaded documents, account email addresses or private filing-page URLs as pageview events.

We remove URL fragments and query parameters from analytics pageview URLs except validated campaign labels. Do not include personal information in campaign labels. The tracker does not use advertising cookies and is disabled when your browser sends a supported Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. A local browser preference may also disable tracking; it is used to exclude our owner's visits after opening the control room. Infrastructure security and service logs are separate from this optional analytics integration.

Cookies and access safeguards

Sign-in cookies support authentication and session continuity. Blocking these cookies may prevent the workspace from working. Quick990 currently does not embed advertising trackers in the application. Hosting and payment providers may use their own cookies and technical logs.

Workspace requests check account ownership, and uploaded documents are stored in a private bucket with short-lived download links. Anyone holding a valid download link may access that file while the link remains valid. Keep links and downloaded records private. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Retention and deletion requests

Saved preparation records remain available in your account until removed or handled through a deletion request. You can remove uploaded documents in the workspace. Account-wide deletion is currently handled through support, not an automatic account setting.

Contact quick990@arw.ltd to request access, correction, an export, or deletion. We verify that you are authorized before acting. Retention depends on the purpose of the record, account use, legal and accounting requirements, fraud prevention, disputes, and provider backup cycles. Some records may be retained when required or permitted by law, and provider backups may persist until their normal expiry. Stripe maintains its own transaction records.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights, including an appeal of a request decision. Send requests or appeals to the same address. We handle them as required by applicable law.

Service scope and policy updates

Quick990 is intended for adults authorized to work with nonprofit records, not children under 18. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us. We post revisions with a new effective date and provide additional notice or seek consent when required by applicable law.
